The Life Cycle of a Movement can be defined by specific steps.

1. The Grand Vision

A charismatic leader or coaches propose a revolutionary approach that promises a panacea for struggling players.

And so it goes. Preparations are underway to challenge the establishment overseas. The gunships are circling. Smoke is rising from the sidelines. One individual, exposed, shivering, the phrase ATTACKING MINDSET smeared across his chest in chicken blood, has stumbled into view and is being led away with discretion towards an inconclusive loan stint at Derbyshire.

Remember the beginning, when optimism reigned? The initial phase, of Bazball without brains.

2. Love-Bombing

Movement founders promise a reboot, optimism ahead, love, success together united in belief in the method.

What was this thing back then? A team united enjoying success. Ink. Muscles. Focus. Elite male wellness energy. Of course, England’s players will claim Bazball doesn’t actually exist, amusingly since it’s not recognized, what was that spectacle?
